Mickey D`S Cafe in Apache Junction

When my Father in law to be said he wanted to go to Mickey D's for his birthday breakfast I thought he was crazy! Turns out it was much better than the old golden arches. Very friendly service, good food, good prices!

Yes! I recommend for any age. Service is great, food delicious and quaint atmosphere. Wouldn't pass this one up. The hillbilly hasbrowns are a recommendation for sure.

Service was excellent but the breakfast gravy needed more sausage flavor. It was bland.......not like I remember.

Great place for breakfast. I had the 2 blueberry pancakes. 2 scrambled eggs & bacon. All very good.My husband got the sausage & gravy & he said it was really good & was pleased. My B-I-L had eggs, bacon & asked for CRISP fried potatoes & my husband & I both tried a bite, PERFECTION. We have never tried the lunch...yet.

Great breakfast and wonderful friendly staff. The owner Mod is so amazing treats you like family. Highly recommend this place.

Great food, fair prices, attentive staff and the owner waitresses as well while keeping an eye on everything. You won't ever be waiting for someone to refill your coffee because there's a designated person roaming the floor filling people up non stop. I love their biscuits and gravy and the veggie omelet.

The place is cozy and has friendly staff. However I think things could be ran a little better. Our drinks took about 15 minutes and food took a long time too. I would understand if it was busy but it was not. The food is ok but sometimes all I can taste is margarine.

Delicious home style foods and brilliant staff that are like family, they remember you. Great variety of food too. Love their breakfasts!

The pecan waffle is loaded with pecans and is plate-size! Staff is efficient, service is fast.Don't be put off by how many cars are in the parking lot. There is more seating inside than one would think.

The two of us went here on a Sunday for brunch. It was very busy, but they got us right in and seated at a table. The tables were close, but I didn't feel too crowded. It was somewhat of a loud atmosphere. This is not fine dining. You get large portions of good, hot food served quickly. We each ordered a full plate of biscuits and gravy. It was huge and good. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I've been spoiled by our own homemade biscuits and gravy. We each also ordered coffee. They kept our cups filled. The total bill for the two of us was $17.51. I'll go back.

Biscuits were so fresh & tasty! Sausage gravy tasted like my mom's! We walked in needing a table for 9 people....we were seated in an area for more privacy where we could talk & visit while we had breakfast! Owner was a very nice gentleman that made sure we had a pleasant experience! Worth it for sure!

We just happened to pass by this place and decided to try it. Really great customer service. We were greeted and seated by Ram (the owner). Very efficient and friendly. Becky was constantly making sure that are needs are met. I had a pancake, eggs and bacon. The pancake was fluffy, soft and moist just the way i like my pancake. My husband had a country fried steak and it was very delicious. My daughter had the biscuit gravy and it was tasty! The place was really clean. I highly recommend to try this place out.

First time there. With all the cars in the parking lot, we thought for sure the wait would be long. To our surprise, it was only a few minutes and we were seated. Atmosphere is diner-type, and with plenty of servers. We had coffee and our order taken really quick. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. It was a healthy portion, and was again much like a typical diner. Don't get me wrong when I say diner, I like them 😁. The food was really good, and eggs were cooked perfectly as I had asked. Price was actually really inexpensive too. Overall very satisfied, and highly recommend!

Not sure why we had bad experience today! We would come here once a week usually on weekends. They were very apologetic and didn't charge us as we didn't eat it. Eggs Benedict over done and not very appealing to the eye and my girl's plate was supposed to be scrambled but looked like a greasy omelet and everything was cold. They should probably take the eggs Benedict off the menu as this is second time now this has happened. If you can't poach an egg correctly maybe time to seek an alternative employment opportunities. Three stars cause they handled it professionally and was good in the past.

The place is what you might call 'old-fashion'. Its small, neatly decorated and just a wide open room. Is this a '5-star' cafe/restaurant? No, it certainly is not, but then it's not trying to be anything other than a humble cafe with simple meals. In that regard, this place hits the mark perfectly. The regulars are friendly with the staff and the staff actually talk to the customers like old friends.

Local greasy spoon and just a grand experience. The corn beef hash is just divine. Wait staff is attentive and friendly, decor is a shot of nostalgia. It was our first time there and will definitely visit again.

Mickey D's Cafe is owned by the cozy corner owners and both restaurants are fantastic This was the first time it Mickey D's for us and they are very comparable in menu as well as quality of food and friendliness of staff. Overall our experience was excellent and I would definitely eat here again.

Place was amazing. Made accommodations for our bigger family very nicely. Owner is an awesome guy who has a great cafe. Love little places like this and it surpassed expectations. Really great gravy and biscuits. Worth the trip for good home food.

We're had a great experience at Mickey D's this morning, I ordered chicken fried steak which was very good.Debbie was our server and she did an awesome job, thank you Debbie. Cameron was Debbie's back up/helper and he also was very helpful. Thank you Mickey D's, we will be back.

The food was delicious and hot!! I ordered chicken strips and fries you can see it just came right out of the fryer but I didn't wait to long. My son ordered a pancake way better than any franchise or big named breakfast place. Can't wait to go again when I'm in the area

My husband had the eggs Benedict and ordered his eggs hard, they brought him two extra eggs hard and they eggs Benedict were runny, he said were horrible. I ordered the waffle breakfast for $5.99 and got charged 7.99. I asked why and they pointed out the ting letters that said sausage is 2.00 more. The waitress never mentioned that. Also the sausage patty was the size of a silver dollar. The people who ordered after got their food before us. Terrible experience!

Always have a great breakfast. Biscuits and gravy are great. We love the service. They have coffee waiters that keep the coffee coming.

The food is always good, fair priced and coffee is always full. It is a little noisy in there due to so many people. If you are going to meet someone there, make sure you arrive together or they don't seat you till the last one arrives.

This place exceded my expectations, from the minute I arrive : plenty of parking space, fast and excellent service, the Food was delicious and the portions were very generous.

I really like eating breakfast here. Even though there is usually a waiting line to get in, you get your food pretty fast. And it's good! Very friendly staff. 😃

Veggie Omelet was very good. Server could have been friendlier. Typical busy diner so social distancing was difficult. Some guy seated at table next to me sneezed. Place is easy to find and seems to be a favorite of the locals.

The staff is so friendly it reminds me of years ago in home town diners. The food was out standing and the prices are not just fair, they are down right low for the quality food you get. We will definitely be a returning customer!

Best breakfast spot in Apache Junction! Great food, quick service, and the wait staff attentive to any need! No need to hunt down a wait person for a coffee refill...one of the few places I know that I can start the day with a great breakfast!

Food is great, service is excellent when they aren't too busy. Not enough help when they are packed with people ( which is all the time.). I still love eating here.

If you are looking for an old school American Diner, this is it. Great value for money in terms of food, and the place is very busy. Anything from Omelette to Pancake to buiscuits&gravy is available. Food takes a while, but is worth the wait.

It's ok. In fairness we didn't order omelettes or chicken fried steak. Instead we had corned beef hash with eggs and hash browns. Not a really large serving of anything. No special flavor or local enhancement. Good service but otherwise not special

It was not what I expected, everyone was making a big deal about Mickey D's and the fact they had fish and prime rib on Friday night's. Very overrated, will not be back, overpriced for the quality and quantity. We came in after 6 and the staff was paying closer attention to close at 7 then taking care of customers. Would have liked to been offer a dessert choice and a refill on coffee.
